About FIFe World Cat Show
The First World Cat Show under the auspices of FIFe (Federation Internationale Feline) was held in 1991, and the World Cat Show continued to be organized, each year in a different European FIFe member country. Thus to date World Shows were held in Germany (2), Austria (2), Luxembourg, Denmark (2), Switzerland (2), Portugal (2) the Netherlands (2), Hungary, Poland, Italy (2), Czech Republic, Finland, Slovakia and France.
FIFe World Cat Show is the most prestigious event of the year for all FIFe members, exhibitors, breeders and cat lovers around the world. On the day of this Show no other show is held by any FIFe members.
Statistics show that an average of 1500 cats from some 30 countries participate in World Shows, with large domestic and international audiences.
FIFe World Cat Show is the greatest and most beautifully cat holiday in cat world. Everything is there for them – the cats.
FIFe rules require that the World Cat Show be held during the last week in October, and that is when the attention of the entire “cat world” is turned to the World Show, the country which organizes it and the results of the “most beautiful of the beautiful”.
In 2012, The World Cat Show takes place in Zagreb on the 27th and 28th October. The Exhibition Team of the World Exhibition, SFDH and all its members will do their best to make this World Exhibition as beautiful, pleasant and interesting as possible for all participants and visitors.
